SwagBucks 2010 Review

Originally posted January 6, 2011

I have been a Swag Bucks member since around October 2009. Between October and 12/30/09, I earned 4 $5 Amazon gift cards, which I used on clearance toys and magazine subscriptions.

In 2010 I earned 31 $5 Amazon gift cards. $155 to spend on Amazon! I wish I could say that paid for Christmas and everything was wonderful, but it ended up getting spent on some much other needed items.

Cloth diaper liners $20
Growing Vegetables book and sippy cups $16
Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid 24-Piece Food Storage Container Set—2 sets $22
Rigid rechargeable drill battery $51
1-Gallon Lawn and Garden Sprayer $11
Laminator $31 (not sure why I purchased this—one of those late night impulse buys!)

$151 spent on items that I would have bought anyway—except the laminator.
I did have $30 in Amazon gift cards to use for gifts from a survey site, so some of Christmas was paid for in Amazon gift cards!

I do have 12 referrals, of which 5 have 0 Swag Bucks, 3 maxed out at 1,000 Swag Bucks and the rest fall in between. I earn Swag Bucks for referrals who win for searching, up to 1,000 Swag Bucks. From my referrals last year, I earned 8 $5 Amazon gift cards, which is nothing to sneeze at. I want to be completely honest--$40 came from referrals who won from searches and I earned $115 from searches, Swagcodes, Daily Polls, logging into the Toolbar, NOSO, and Trusted Surveys. Will I be using Swagbucks in 2011? Of course!

If you haven't tried Swag Bucks--go check it out. You get Swag Bucks for searches, among other things and you can easily average 450 every two weeks, which is how often prizes are issued. Have fun!
